Art of Being Brilliant

The Art of Being Brilliant is a fast paced, entertaining and light-hearted session on a very serious subject; YOU and your personal wellbeing. It is solidly based in the science of positive psychology with all the big words taken out and replaced with simple to understand and easy to action content.

In a nutshell Being Brilliant is about being the best version of ourselves, something we all know how to do brilliantly. But work, pandemics, the cost of living and life in general can get in the way sometimes. This session aims to do two things, to remind you of how awesome you are and give you some simple tips that will help you form the habits that will help that best version of you be present more often.

We all know that the difference between the best version of you and the tired, stressed, frustrated version of you is massive and ‘how’ you are impacts on those around you. This session will help you ensure that the impact you have and the ripple you create energises and empowers your family, friends, colleagues and everyone you deal with.

This Session will be facilitated by Mike Martin & Sanjeev Sandhu

Cancellations

When partnering with development providers, a fee is paid for their services. Although this fee is not passed on to you, by registering, you have signed up to a place that somebody else could fill. Facilitators

Mikey and Sanj were both born and raised in South Wales. Though they are from different generations and differing cultural backgrounds they both share a passion for helping people to remember how to be their best selves, summed up by Mikey’s favourite quote:

“We have the most wonderful job in the world. We find people in various stages of sleep. And then we get to tap them on the shoulder and be with them as they wake up to the full magnificence of life.” – Sydney Banks.

Their bond grew stronger when the pandemic hit and they worked together to create Art of Brilliance’s first online ‘Wellbeing Workout’ and now they specialise in working with organisations to create bespoke virtual programmes that take delegates on a journey towards better wellbeing for themselves, their families and their teams.

Both Sanj & Mikey are co-authors of Art of Brilliance books (How to be a Wellbeing and Leadership the Multiplier Effect) and Sanj is currently pursuing a PhD in Positive Psychology and Wellbeing at Swansea University .

Mike Martin – Mike is an experienced leader with a strong track record of delivering transformational change in organisations. He’s properly clever [Physics degree, post-grad Biz Psychology, life-coach, NLP, Thought Pattern management, etc] but don’t let that put you off. Mike’s real quality is his disarming niceness, cracking sense of humour and an ever-so-slightly maverick approach to helping individuals and teams become the best they can be.

Sanjeev Sandhu – Born in South Wales to English parents with an Indian origin, Sanj learnt to embrace his uniqueness. Working for two of the biggest consulting firms on the planet, he learnt that happiness is ultimately a choice. Living in London and Dubai, he learnt that perception is reality and dreams do come true. Travelling the world, he learnt that discipline, perspective and contrast are crucial to success.
