Get involved in GMTS! Applications to host GMTS trainees in 2024 now open

GMTS is an exceptionally competitive leadership training programme that attracts ambitious candidates from a wide variety of backgrounds. We are looking for applications from trusts, systems and organisations running NHS services to host trainees within your organisations from September 2024. Trainees are aspiring future leaders with a real passion for the NHS and can add significant value to the organisations they join. How to apply

The application process is similar to last year, involving two stages. Stage one application forms and guidance can be accessed online: GMTS Host Organisation Guidance and Application Forms (password is ‘GMTS’). The application questions align with the GMTS Quality Standards Framework, which has been co-produced with stakeholders.

Please note that organisations who would like to host trainees will be required to pay a contribution of £24,000 per trainee to cover the duration of their time on the Scheme, invoiced pro-rata by financial year. ​This cost can be split across multiple organisations subject to local agreements.
