Coaching and mentoring is an inclusive offering available to all professions within the NHS and social care, irrespective of pay grade, clinical and non-clinical roles.

Whether you are leading an organisation, heading up a service, managing a team or leading yourself and colleagues, coaching or mentoring can support you on your leadership journey.

At its purest, coaching is the art of truly listening and asking questions that help the coachee generate insights and new perspectives to help empower them and move forward in a positive way. This can be achieved in a short space of time in a confidential environment where it feels safe to share vulnerabilities and issues that might otherwise inhibit progress.

We are working with coaches from within the region, who have undertaken Express Coaching training to support health and care colleagues working across the South West. They will provide focused, short-term support in the form of one virtual coaching session. 

The Foundations in System Leadership; collaborating for health and care programme is open to all colleagues working in health, care, local authorities, and voluntary sector partnerships, who have a desire to improve the way they collaborate across organisational, professional, and hierarchical boundaries to design and deliver better health outcomes for the communities they serve.

It covers 3 main themes – What is a system? Why is it important? How do you do it?

The programme will run for five weeks and will take approximately five hours of self-directed study per week so you can fit the course around your work, study and family commitments.

Group Coaching Supervision sessions with external professional coach supervisors from Catalyst 14.

Group Coaching Supervision can be helpful for:

• Experienced coaches who are seeking a strong learning space and peer group to deepen capability.
• Coaches new to coaching and looking for a peer learning group to support coaching practice since becoming accredited.
• Coaches who are feeling a bit rusty as they have not had the chance to practice for a while.

ELearning modules complimented by training events and workshops to help you lead your team. We know how important it is for clinicians and leaders at all levels to keep their skills updated to inspire and lead their teams. Equally, we understand how crucial it is for you to personally improve your skills and effectiveness.

Truly authentic leadership is a journey and these online modules that we have created will enable you to support that journey to truly realise your potential.
