Welcome back Lucy Peach!
Hi, I’m Lucy.
I have recently returned to the South West Leadership Academy as the Leadership Development Senior Manager following Maternity Leave. My son is now approaching a year old, and as any new parent I’m sure will attest, it’s been a magical, terrifying and exhausting time! Returning to work (and in a new capacity) has certainly added another layer of personal pressure and expectation but it’s also brought a new sense of self and purpose in a professional capacity, which has restored my energy.
My team, plan, develop and oversee the delivery of Leadership Development interventions to benefit our South West colleagues. We also aim to connect with organisations to understand key immediate challenges and work in collaboration to design custom development solutions, to support colleagues locally.
I joined the SWLA in 2020 from the private sector in Financial Services. My professional background is rooted deeply in learning and development, Leadership and Team Development. As a qualified Executive Coach I’m innately curious about how we as humans behave and respond to the ever-changing environment around us, and the contributing factors that shape how we show up and the choices we make.
As we embark on a new financial year, we are carefully scoping and planning the development opportunities that will support colleagues in the here and now but also the emergent needs brought by the development of Integrated Care Systems.
Flexible working enables me to work from home in Swindon where I live with my husband, son, and labradoodle. On weekends you’ll find me on the netball court or out walking with the pooch.
I am really looking forward to making more connections to find out how we can best support our colleagues in the South West, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’d like to talk.
