Welcoming Donna!

Hi, I’m Donna,

I joined the South West Leadership Academy as the Business and Support Officer at the beginning of September. Already one month in and what an absolute pleasure it’s been so far!

Prior to joining the SWLA I spent 18 years working in the energy industry. Many of these years I spent as a Team Performance Coach, building and influencing effective working relationships to facilitate personal development.

I then moved to a Business Support role, managing a variety of projects, developing and implementing new operating models and supporting process, policy and culture changes.

I’m extremely driven by continuous improvement and am passionate about working with people to positively contribute to wider plans and agendas.

I can already see that this is a passion I share with the SWLA! I feel so fortunate to be part of such a great team of people who work together to deliver incredible leadership development opportunities. I’m really looking forward to contributing to this success and continuing to meet and work with such brilliant people!

To share a little bit about me on a personal level…I live in Exeter with my husband, our 3 children and our fluffy little pup, Buddy! My evenings and weekends are mainly filled with football and dance….but I also manage to squeeze in my own hobby of netball! I love beach walks, shopping trips and catching up with friends over food/drink.
